林書豪近日在NBA焦點球賽上一鳴驚人，成為了媒體爭相採訪的焦點。年僅23歲的林書豪卻未有因此而心高氣傲，在每次接受媒體訪問時，他都會見證上帝在他的生命中的重要地位，將讚美與榮耀歸予上帝。林書豪得到了很多主內弟兄們的鼓勵，基督徒歌手MC Jin（歐陽靖）亦被林書豪的故事所感動而寫了一首新歌Nick Of Time。
MC Jin介紹新歌說，他大約一年前曾看過林書豪分享信仰的一篇文章，可能因為林書豪的背景與他相似都是美籍華人，而且當時自己的信仰也在尋找中，所以他特別受到激勵。後來，林書豪進了金洲戰士隊，MC Jin萌生了為林書豪寫一首歌的念頭。雖然他已經寫好了一首歌Warriors（戰士），但一直覺得這首歌的整體內容尚需改進而沒有推出來。很巧合地，林書豪後來也被金山戰士隊釋出。
MC Jin說：「當他繼續上路到休斯頓，直到最後加入了紐約人。我想我可以很踏實地說，神在這位弟兄身上所做的工，感化和激勵了我們無數人的生命。」
MC Jin 後來再寫的這首新歌Nick Of Time，希望將林書豪和眾多弟兄姊妹都經歷過的上帝見證出來：祂總是在最關鍵的時間領我度過（HE always come thru in the nick of time）。
